Intermediate Digital Photography 

You have learned the basics, but want to learn more about the tricks of the trade. In this class we will discuss more in-depth the art of composition, design, color, and subject choice.  Come and let us help you to better and further your understanding of  the concept of aperture openings, shutter speeds, ISOs, correct exposures, correctly composing your images, and gray-making property of your meter and how to overcome it.  We will discuss window light portraiture, window light still lifes, creating silhouettes, how to photograph stained glass, night and low-light photography( We will be going out and photographing the holiday lights), flash photography, studio photography, and digital editing.  Your images will be critiqued every week and your best images will be uploaded onto the internet at Flickr.com so that other photographers all over the world can see them and critique them. You will also learn advanced techniques on how to improve your images by using PhotoShop  image editing software. You will have personalized attention from the instructor, so that you  may reach the goals that you set out for yourself in this course. Prerequisite:
Introduction to Digital Photography or Introduction to Light Measurement

Supplies Needed For the Class:

- A Digital Camera that has Manual Functions
- A Memory Card for your camera
- If you have your camera manual, please bring it to class with you
- An 18% Gray Card ( this may be purchased at Cameras Brookwood or Online)
- A tripod ( recommended)
- An external flash (recommended, but not a must)
