Advanced Digital Photography 

In this class, we will discuss more in-depth the art of composition, design, color, and subject choice.  Your assignment for this class will be to create a theme or idea that you will focus on photographing for the 6 weeks of the class. From this theme, you will produce, print, and mat five images that conceptually work together to become part of your portfolio. In class, we will also evaluate your previous work that you have done to also produce your portfolio. The concepts of lighting, props, exposures, filters will all be based around the theme that you choose to photograph. Your images will be critiqued every week and you will create a Flickr.com website, so that other photographers from all over the world can see your work and critique it. You will also learn advanced techniques on how to improve your images by using PhotoShop  image editing software. You will have personalized attention from the instructor, so that you  may reach the goals that you set out for yourself in this course.  

Prerequisite:
Introduction to Digital Photography, Introduction to Intermediate Photography, Photoshop for the Absolute Beginner, and Introduction to Light Measurement
